Purcell introduces vFlex™ Product Line

Orlando, FL, March 27th, 2007 (CTIA) – Purcell Systems, the leading provider of customized enclosure and outside plant cabinet solutions for the broadband communications market, announced today the release of the vFlex™ family of enclosures.  Set to be unveiled at CTIA at booth #3517, the vFlex™ product line provides unmatched versatility with hundreds of options and configurations; true variety with 5RU, 10RU, 15RU, and 20RU versions to choose from; and tremendous value with its pre-engineered,  cost-conscious design so you only pay for what you need and nothing else.

With billions of dollars spent on network equipment every year, equipment protection and power/battery support for telecommunications infrastructure has risen to the industry forefront. As network demands increase, service requirements change, and technology platforms evolve, it becomes increasingly difficult for carriers and service providers to specify and deploy the most effective equipment support solutions. Purcell is the only company that is continually addressing these issues with specially-designed sets of customizable, modular, and durable outdoor enclosure systems.

With the vFlex™ series of enclosures from Purcell Systems, the final configured product can range from an empty box to a fully integrated support system complete with environmental conditioning, DC power system with rectifiers, battery support, 23" or 19" user equipment racks, cable entry options, AC power options such as a load center, AC receptacles, grounding, full insulation, Telco board, and pad, wall, or pole-mounting brackets.

"With the substantial number of network equipment decisions providers have to make these days," says Purcell President & CEO Pete Chase, "Purcell Systems is making things easier by offering cost-effective, flexible solutions to meet almost any deployment scenario."  The vFlex™ platform offered exclusively from Purcell Systems offers service providers a distinct competitive advantage with the only outdoor cabinet solution that allows them to simplify installation and maintenance, significantly reduce equipment and installation costs, and provide for variable equipment deployment needs with a single solution.
